The long wait is finally over!
After months of being cooped up at home, Filipinos can finally catch their favorite movies at the cinemas starting November 10, 2021.
Just yesterday, several cinemas opened their doors for moviegoers after nearly two years of being shuttered due to the coronavirus pandemic. According to the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP), PH movie houses will only be accepting fully vaccinated individuals inside the cinemas, who of course need to present their vaccination cards.
In compliance with the guidelines set by the national and local government, the cinemas have also developed the “SA SINE SAFE KA” – a science and experience-based set of health & safety protocols. Moviegoers should be seated one seat apart while wearing their face masks at all times. Food will also not be allowed inside the cinema, except beverages.
