- Where’s the party at? Another make-or-break factor in a great barbecue party is the location. Whether it be a parking lot/garage, your condo’s BBQ pit facilities, your backyard or the wilderness, the place should be clean, not overly crowded with people, and with the right amount of sunshine, breeze, and places to sit and hang out. A great vista would also be preferred, as munching on that fat, juicy steak wouldn’t be as great an experience if you’re sitting across a city dump.
- It’s all about the people, people! The interplay of different personalities is actually an essential element that makes a successful barbecue party. Ideally, there should be the types who are responsible and conscientious, keeping track of the provisions, cooking, the utensils, and other little details. There would also have to be the fun-inspiring people who keep things lively with conversation, music and games. And of course, the happy eaters who will make sure there won’t be any wastage or leftovers.
