Here Are Helpful Tips To Take Note Of Before Ordering On Foodpanda
Having trouble ordering on the foodpanda app? Here are tips and tricks to help you!
If you’re staying at home more often as a result of the ongoing global crisis, you might ask yourself: Is it still safe to order food through delivery?
The answer is yes: Food delivery services such as foodpanda are still up and running to take your order. With their contactless delivery protocol, you sure are in safe hands! “As the spread of COVID-19 continues to unfold, foodpanda takes the situation very seriously,” says foodpanda Philippines Managing Director Camille Hadjeri.
Now, you’re probably having a hard time ordering your favorite due to the limited number of restaurants available in your area. We get you, it can be daunting at times to keep on waiting only for your order to be cancelled.
To successfully and safely order through foodpanda, here are some hacks and tips you need to take note of:
Make sure you are using online payment
To curb the spread of germs and keep human interactions to a minimum, customers are highly encouraged to switch to online payment. foodpanda sees online payment as a more sensible solution to reduce the amount of cash that gets passed around.
Order as early as you can
With the current situation, it is understandable that there would only be a limited number of restos and cafes available to take your order. If you’ve been having a hard time getting your spicy chicken wing or your wintermelon milk tea delivered at your doorstep, we’ve got you covered.
To successfully order at foodpanda, it’s best if you place your order as early as you can so you will be prioritised by your chosen restaurant. If you order in the afternoon, it is highly likely that it will be cancelled.
Order the day before
Another option to successfully satisfy your cravings is by ordering a day before. In the foodpanda app, there are restaurants that are accepting orders as early as 24 hours before your chosen delivery time.
Go to your order and tap ‘Contact your rider’
If you happen to have additional requests or last-minute changes you want to make, you may send your rider a message by tapping the ‘contact your rider’ tab which will appear after you place your order.
Request your rider to leave your food at the door
Since people can spread the virus even before they know they are sick, it is important to avoid human interactions for now. Part of our responsibility as a citizen is to abide by the rules set by the government, so to reduce close contact with your rider, you may request them to leave your food at the doorstep.
